The rink is located on the southern side of the Acacia Ridge shopping centre, and is easily accessible from the major arterial roads that run through the area. Tucked away in the heart of Acacia Ridge, Iceworld Olympic Ice Rinks offers an extensive range of products and services to suit all your ice skating needs. Whether you are a beginner or a professional, Iceworld has everything you need to make your ice skating experience fun and memorable. Iceworld is the only venue that offers a full range of ice skating lessons for all ages and skill levels. They also have quality ice skates and protective gears that can be rented or bought at Iceworld’s Skate Shop. Other facilities that can be utilized within the venue are ice sports rinks, an Olympic size rink, and function spaces that can be used for events like birthday parties or company events. Aside from kids’ parties, Iceworld also offers a Skate School where children learn to skate with the help of selected experts.

Iceworld is open every day and on most holidays except Christmas Day, New Year’s Day, and Boxing Day. Keep in mind that public session schedules can change anytime so aside from checking their site, it’s best to contact them by phone before visiting the venue. As a reference, general sessions of skating lessons last between 1 1/2 hour to 2 hours, depending on which session you’ll take. And if it gets too cold, you can always take a break and chill at the coffee shop nearby. For people who are new to ice skating, it’s important to know what to expect. On top of session rates, you’ll also have to consider your gear. For example, there are many different types of ice skates and they can be expensive. The good news is that there are many ways to save money when getting a pair of ice skates. You’ll just have to check your options and decide if you should rent or buy one.

Ice skating is a nice way to move one’s body and improve balance and flexibility. It’s also a productive hobby that’s highly recommended no matter the age. Aside from having fun learning how to skate and coming up with easy to difficult moves, spending time on Iceworld is a great way to escape the intense summer heat of Queensland.
